The Hsiung Feng III is a supersonic, long-range anti-ship missile developed in Taiwan as a follow-on to Hsiung Feng II. The new missile was shown for the first time during 10th National Day celebrations military parade in October 2007. The Hsiung Feng III may feature improved accuracy over its predecessor. The missile system was deployed onboard various warships of the Taiwanese Navy in May 2011.
